Key Dates

October 2009

• ETI payments for the September Quarter need to be submitted to the Income Tax Office by the 15th of the month.

• Distribution reporter needs to be completed for trading companies that pay shareholders income (other than salary which is declared through the ETI scheme) by the 15th of the month.

• Manually completed UK self-assessment returns need to be sent to the Inland Revenue by the 31st of the month.

December 2009

• 2nd instalment of 2009 Income Tax payments on account must be paid to the Income Tax Office.

• 2008 tax returns and accounts to be submitted to the Income Tax Office to avoid surcharges on potential late payments.

• Company information as at 31st December 2009 must be submitted to The Guernsey Registry by the end of next month.

January 2010

• Every Guernsey Registered company MUST file its Annual Validation by the 31st January 2010 in order to avoid paying fines.
