31 January 2012

• Companies are required to file their Annual Validations between 1st -31st January 2012. Late filing penalties will apply from 1st February 2012.

31 January 2012

• Deadline for submission of UK tax returns for the year ended 5 April 2011. Also payment on account deadline for UK tax.

15 April 2012

• Employer deadline for ETI and social security returns and payments of contributions for Quarter 2.

30 June 2012

• Deadline for payment of 1st instalment of Guernsey tax for individuals, tax paying companies and rental income companies.

15 July 2012

• Employer deadline for ETI and social security returns and payments of contributions for Quarter 2 2012.
• Deadline for payment of tax for investment companies, 1st instalment for 2012 income.

31 July 2012

• Payment on account deadline for UK tax for the year ended 5 April 2011.

31 August 2012

• Deadline by which we need to have received all personal and company records for completion of 2011 calendar year or 2011 accounting year end tax returns.

15 October 2012

• Employer deadline for ETI and social security returns and payments of contributions for Quarter 3 2012.

26 October 2012

•  Coding notices will be issued to all companies and individuals by the Income Tax Office.

30 November 2012 - NEW

• NEW - Deadline for submission of all personal and company tax returns for the calendar year 2011 or accounting year ending in 2011. Daily penalties will be imposed for late returns after this date at 100 initially and 10 per day thereafter.

31 December 2012

• Deadline for payment of 2nd instalment of Guernsey tax for individuals, tax paying companies and rental income companies.

11 January 2013

• Issue of 2012 tax returns. NOTE - Companies will be required to file their returns online for accounting periods ending in 2012.

15 January 2013

• Employer deadline for ETI and social security returns and payments of contributions for Quarter 4 2012.

• Deadline for payment of tax for investment companies, 2nd instalment for 2012 income.
