Amy Bishop
Amy's current role is providing essential office support to the Brehon team. She has the perfect smiley face and sing song voice to greet our customers and makes an absolutely wicked cup of tea.
Amy was born in Guernsey and educated at Forest and La Mare de Carteret Primary schools and La Mare de Carteret Secondary School. She left school with 8 GCSEs and RSA 1 in both Typing and Computer Literacy.
After a short stint at Lloyds Bank, Amy began work at the Queens Road Medical Practice as receptionist and doctors secretary. She left after 5 years to have her children.
On returning to work it became increasingly difficult to juggle working hours with the needs of her children, so Amy became a registered childminder.
After 5 years Amy gave up childminding and went in search of a new career and some grown up conversation.
Amy found the former in November 2007 when she started work for Brehon as the Office Angel, - she is still waiting for the latter.
Amy's current role is providing essential office support to the Brehon team.
She has the perfect smiley face and sing song voice to greet our customers and makes an absolutely wicked cup of tea.
All of our customers can also sleep soundly at night in the knowledge that Amy is a trained first aider.
We sincerely hope that her first aid skills won't be called upon for anything more serious than a plaster, however please be advised that Amy works term time only and therefore it would be helpful if any incidents of a more serious nature are timed accordingly.
Amy's hobbies include line dancing, cooking, karaoke, boating and knitting. She is also learning to windsurf.
Amy has a son and a daughter.
