A Tower of Strength in Guernsey

Most Guernsey people are familiar with Brehon tower which stands proudly in the Little Russel, between Guernsey and Herm. But few people know it was once home to 35 artillerymen working hard to defend the island from the threat of French invasion.

Dating from 1856 and built by Thomas Charles de Putron, Brehon tower now houses a colony of Common Tern and is an important navigation mark in this busy stretch of water.

The tower represents longevity, reliability and strength - qualities which Brehon Chartered Accountants aspire to by offering our clients a professional, reliable and impressive accountancy service.
