Whats in a name?
Brehon is named after the oval-shaped Herm granite tower located out
to sea, in the Little Russel, between Guernsey and Herm. Dating back
back to 1856, it was built by Thomas Charles de Putron following the
Crimean War, while Britain was still wary of the French, and was once
the home of 35 artillerymen. Legend has it that a fresh water well
springs from deep within the Brehon rock on which it stands.
Nowadays a navigation mark and home to a colony of Common Tern, the
tower stands for longevity, strength and reliability - all qualities
that Brehon aspires to in aiming to offer its customers a professional,
dependable and impressive accountancy service. |
